Wormwood is high in antioxidants and has been used to get rid of harmful organisms, it’s been known to kill cancer cells and treat anorexia, insomnia, anemia, a lack of appetite, flatulence, stomach aches, jaundice and indigestion. Do not take with alcohol or in it’s alcoholic version Absinthe, it looses its benefits. It increases in potency and effectiveness when combined with other similar medicinal herbs and/or ginger. This super herb is also know for its extremely bitter taste and should be avoided by pregnant women.
